Half Day Shark Ray Alley Snorkeling Tour
Duration: Approx. 4 hours
Skill Requirement: Fair to excellent swimming abilities
Time: 8:00 A.M. from Belize City or 10:00 A.M. Caye Caulker (can be tailored for your group)
Place: Pick up guest/s at Fort Street Tourism Village
Pick up may be also be available from your hotel, Belize City airstrip or water taxi.
Indulge yourself in the pristine waters of the Caribbean Sea. This is a must do tour when you’re in Belize. For all the water lovers and those that want to experience the underwater world and swim in a real life aquarium. Caye Caulker Marine Reserve and Shark Ray Alley is the place to be. You will get a chance to overcome your fears to swim with friendly nurse sharks and southern stingrays. As your boat pulls up to the area, you will get a first hand view of the sharks as they come close to the boat. These creatures flock to this site due to the fishermen that are normally in the area. Your guide will also lift the rays for you to take wonderful pictures and will guide you as you enter into the crystal clear water so you can swim with the sharks and rays.
During this tour you will be able to snorkel at 3 locations for about 45 mins to an hour. As you swim the barrier reef, you’ll get a chance to see different coral formations along with different schools of tropical fishes. You will definitely have an UNBELIZEABLE time here. After snorkeling, you may stay on the island to grab a quick bite to eat before returning to Belize City.
Notes:
- Tour departs from Belize City or Caye Caulker.
- Price is reduced if you are taking the tour from Caye Caulker.
- Children must be at least 3 years old to snorkel. Younger children are able to stay on the boat with a parent/adult.
- Children up to the age of 12 years join our tour at a reduced price.
- This tour is available to cruise ship passengers and overnight guests.

- Cancellations made 7 days before will be fully refunded except for a service fee of 5%.
- Any cancellations made 3 days before will be refunded 50% of the amount paid.
- For cancellations made at a later date, there will not be any refund.
- There will be no refund for “No Shows”.

Had a wonderful time snorkeling with the shark and rays at the Caye Caulker Marine Reserve. Our Smart Travel Tour guide Omar was awesome. It was our first time snorkeling ever and we were all scared to enter with those magnificent creatures.
